Uninstalling a Side by Side Installation

Unlike a standard installation, a side by side installation is not visible via Programs and Features. Therefore, there is no GUI to uninstall a side by side installation.

If you need to deactivate your licenses, do so via the Activation Utility in the associated program directory before proceeding with the uninstall.

To uninstall a side by side installation, delete the files in the associated program directory. Depending on what was installed, you also may need remove any Windows Services, virtual directories in IIS and the irCatalog database.

Even the standard uninstall process requires manual deletion of the irCatalog database.
