Implicit data type conversion is a core part of the irScript language experience. irScript uses the same implicit data type conversion logic employed by the InRule engine itself.

In addition to implicit conversion, irScript provides certain explicit conversion methods via its built-in Interop API. Please see the section “Built-in Objects and Functions” for further details.
