The Authoring Insights dashboard is interactive. You can select a rule application, author, or activity date to filter the dashboard to display specific criteria.  In addition, you can combine filter criteria to get a precise view of information.

Filtering by Author

The Revisions by Author widget provides a comparative visualization of authoring activity by user. This gives administrators visibility into which authors are most actively using the platform.

In addition to providing insight into who is most active in the platform, clicking on one of the authors will enable an administrator to drill into that Authoring Insight activity specific to the author selected.

Clear the selection at any time by clicking on Clear Selection in the upper right corner of the widget.

Filtering by Rule Application

The Revisions by Rule Application widget provides a comparative visualization of catalog activity by rule application. This gives administrators visibility into those rule applications which are frequently edited, which may be excellent targets for further optimization to reduce churn or represent ROI as measured by hours saved eliminating these frequent changes from entering the software development lifecycle, and increased agility for business users who drive change requests.
