Set Up and Configure a New Application within Okta

Administrator access in Okta is required to set up and configure a new application within Okta..



1.png In the Admin Console, go to  Applications > Applications
2.png Click Create New App
3.png Select Web from dropdown
4.png Select OpenID Connect
5.png Click Create



6.png Application name can be anything, although something like “InRule-{app-name}-{environment}” is recommended
7.png Enter below for Login Redirect URIs:
8.png Enter below for Logout Redirect URIs:
9.png Click Save



10.png After you save your settings, click Edit by General Settings, then check the following checkboxes as shown



11.png Enter the application URL you are trying to reach (e.g. )
12.png Click Save




13.png Copy Client ID and provide it to InRule for future use
14.png Copy Issuer URL and provide it to InRule for future use
