Compare Tests

  • Updated

A Compare Test in irVerify Test Suites will match the values of all rule application elements between
an expected data state and data state of an input after rules have executed.

As detailed earlier in creating Test Suites, data states for a Compare Test can be configured from irVerify sessions. Data states can also be manually entered in the Test Suite screen above by selecting from the appropriate drop-downs. More information on data states and overrides can be found in the article data state in Test Suites.

NOTE: Compare Tests allow Input data state to be test scenario formats or XML/JSON entity state formats. Expected data state can only be test scenario data state because InRule rule application specific state such as validations are measured as part of the compare test.
