InRule Process Automation Version 2.89 Release Notes

  • Updated

January 2024

We have released a new version of Process Automation, version 2.89. As usual, it contains different improvements and adjustments. Some of them might not affect you directly, but you can be sure that we are constantly fixing and improving things behind the scenes to refine features that already exist, or to prepare for new features that are coming later.

New features

Mail log

Mail log is a new page where application administrators can view a list of emails that have been sent from the application so that they can easily verify that emails have been sent to users. This feature is in beta and there may be changes to this page soon. Read more about the feature in the article, Mail Log. We would like to hear your feedback on this feature, reach out to support-eu@inrule.com to let us know what you think.

Instances with alerts in Lists

We have added a new column option in Lists to make it possible for application administrators to filter Lists for Instances that are showing the alert symbol. This provides a more efficient way to see which instances need attention. See the article, How to: Create a List for Monitoring Instances with Alerts, to see how to use this new tool.

Integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365

We have added an integration that makes it possible to get and update information from Dynamics 365. This makes it possible to easily get information from Dynamics 365 to enrich your process and update Dynamics 365 with data that has been enhanced through processes. The integration is available in the modeling tool and gives users access to build integrations without having to write code. Please contact our sales team to get access to the Dynamics integration.

This release also contains additional minor bug fixes and security updates.
