InRule Process Automation Version 2.87 Release Notes

November 2023

We have released a new version of Process Automation, version 2.87. As usual, it contains different improvements and adjustments. Some of them might not affect you directly, but you can be sure that we are constantly fixing and improving things behind the scenes to refine features that already exist, or to prepare for new features that are coming later.

New features

Performance Improvements 

Some users were experiencing timeouts in the Application overview when trying to load the page. This has been resolved in the newest version of Process Automation. 

Improvements to the Process Applications page 

The instances on this page are now filtered ascending rather than descending. This means that the Deployed instances will appear at the top of the list and the Stopped instances will appear at the bottom.

Improvements to the List configuration view

The list of applications in the List configuration view only listed applications the user had admin permission to or applications where they had permission to one or more instances.
All applications in the space are now listed in the List configuration view to improve performance.

Bug-fixes

Global Session Variables

Error
There was an encoding issue for global session variables.

Fix
This bug has been fixed.

This release also contains additional minor bug fixes and security updates.
