We occasionally get reports from users saying they are experiencing issues with Forms they have accessed via a link in an email.
In some instances, this is due to a browser setting unrelated to InRule's product. This article offers suggestions on how to solve the issue, but when the issue is caused by your browser or security software, it is recommended that you contact your organization's IT department.
Issue 1: The link opens, but the form does not load
If you are able to open the link from the email, but the content of the form is not visible, as shown below, try the following solutions:
-
Try opening the link in a different browser, for example, if you are opening the link in Google Chrome, try opening it in Firefox.
-
Try opening the link using a different device. For example, if you are opening the link from your desktop, try opening it from your mobile device.
-
Check your browser settings to see if there are any settings that block images or URLs, check any security software on your device that may be blocking links or content for data protection purposes within your org.
In your software, look for options to whitelist the domain and URLs from "live.barium.se" and add noreply@bariumlive.com to your list of trusted senders.
Issue 2: The form opens, but the form will not submit
If you are able to open the link and see the content, but can not click Send(and no validation issues are visible), the problem could be that the URL in the browser is not identical to the URL in the e-mail sent to you.
To see if the URLs are the same
- Find the original link in the email you received from noreply@bariumlive.com.
- Right-click on the link and select Copy Link Address (the options may be different on your system, but there should be a similar option available).
- Paste the link somewhere you can look at it without navigating to it
- Now compare this to the link you have opened from the form where it will not submit. You can see in the example below that the browser added "clicktime.symantec.com" to the URL. This is what is preventing the form from being submitted as the process will not recognize any modified links.
The solutions in this article are just suggestions as we can only provide support for our product, Process Automation. We do not recommend turning off any security software your organization has in place and we encourage you to reach out to the IT support at your organization for any browser issues you are experiencing.
